2020: The Founding Vision

Building on Rwanda’s Rich Coffee Heritage

Rwanda is renowned for its specialty coffee, with a legacy dating back over a century. Inspired by this vibrant tradition, BLACKBUCK COFFEE Ltd was founded in 2020 in Kigali with a bold vision: to bring world-class coffee experiences to Rwanda through high-quality European coffee machines, expert service, and premium locally roasted beans.

Since 2020, BLACKBUCK COFFEE has grown rapidly, establishing itself as a pioneer in Rwanda’s coffee industry:

  • First Serious Provider of European Coffee Machines: We are proud to be the first company to seriously introduce and supply European-grade coffee machines in Rwanda, setting a new standard for quality.
  • Exclusive Partnership with Magister: We have an exclusive partnership with Magister, a renowned Italian coffee machine manufacturer, bringing their world-class machines directly to Rwanda.
  • Hundreds of Coffee Machines Imported: We’ve supplied cafés, restaurants, hotels, and offices with hundreds of premium coffee machines, fueling Rwanda’s coffee culture.
  • Coffee Shop in the Heart of Kigali: Located in front of Waka Fitness Club, our flagship café serves as a hub for Kigali’s coffee lovers.
  • Medium Roast Coffee: We roast premium Rwandan beans locally, focusing on a smooth and balanced medium roast that reflects the best of Rwandan coffee.
  • Industry Presence: As participants in the Kigali International Expo, we’ve proudly showcased our expertise and leadership in Rwanda’s growing hospitality sector.
  • In-House Expertise: We’ve trained a skilled team of local technicians, ensuring unmatched after-sales support and machine servicing for businesses nationwide.
